1. Pele played his first international match against Argentina on 7 July 1957 at Marakana Stadium, Argentina. Ina 2-1 loss, Pele secored his first goal for Brazil at the age of 16 years & 9 months. making him the yougest international goalscorer. 
2. Became the youngest player to win the World Cup trophy at 17, a record that still stands. On 29 June 1958, Pele became the youngest player to play in a World Cup final match at 17 years 249 days. It match was Brazil beat Sweden 5-2 in Stockholm.
